The Representation you Need.

Over the past two decades Stephen B. Morris has represented individuals in employment matters, bad faith insurance claims, business litigation, and consumer fraud cases, as well as personal injury and breach of contract claims. The firm has gained substantial experience and recognition in class action litigation, both in the employment arena and in protecting consumer rights. Morris and Associates is a plaintiff's contingency law firm; we don't get paid if we don't win. Our belief is that everyone who is injured physically or emotionally, or has suffered a financial loss, is entitled to competent and caring representation.
We are a boutique law firm that cares.

In the past two years, Morris and Associates has settled multiple class action lawsuits against employers such as Brinks, Inc., Kraft, KB Homes, DHL, Fidelity Information Services, Hallmark, and others, recovering millions of dollars for employees throughout California. Morris and Associates is currently representing employees in multiple class actions in San Diego, Sacramento, Los Angeles and San Francisco seeking overtime pay, meal and rest break pay and interest and penalties for our clients.

In 2009, Morris and Associates represented a class of persons comprising all Nordstrom customers in California who had received, but not used prior to their expiration, "Nordstrom Notes." The action sought to reimburse all customers whose "Nordstrom Notes" had expired. The expiration dates were in less than ten-point font. California law requires all Gift Certificates which contain expiration dates to ensure that they appear in at least ten-point font.

If you read your cell phone bill and see a line item which causes that familiar smirk to appear, chances are you've found a charge which may be unlawful, deceptive or unfair.  Over the past decade, Stephen Morris has filed actions in California and throughout the United Sates against at&t, Sprint, Nextel and Sprint-Nextel (after they merged), as well as other providers,  participating in cases which have generated settlements valued at hundreds of millions of dollars.
